Le Petit Cabestang

Since 2006, in the same area as Bordeaux wines, Vin de Pays de l’Atlantique has been allowed to be produced.

Soil type : Limestone-clay plateau with southern exposure

Vinification : This Cuvee, classified in the appellation Vin de Pays de l’Atlantique, is produced on chalky plots on the shores of the Garonne. The average age of the vineyard is 20 years. This wine has been elaborated from the varietal which has been discovered in Bordeaux only 200 years ago: the Merlot.

Tasting Note : This varietal has been selected for this Cuvee for its different assets : «finesse» and elegance, a nice roundness, a great aromatic red fruit palet.

Serving suggestions : Le Petit Cabestang goes well with beef, lamb, and duck. You can serve it with dishes like roast leg of lamb, and Sole sauce. It also tastes good with grilled turkey. Camembert, Brie and Roquefort cheeses are good accompaniments as well. Type : Merlot Réserve, Cabernet Sauvignon Réserve, Cabernet
